Captain's Log... Lost...

Oh how I am bogged down... and lost in a corner.

6th Edition has rolled out the 'What do I do now carpet?' and I have to get back into throwing a monkey wrench into things.

Captain's Log... Step Up...

I suppose I could start off with my opinion of 6th edition after one week of the game being 'live' to the general public but there are so many opinions out there now, mine is just a little fish in a big pond. I'll give it to you at the end where it will mean even less.

Here's what I am working on...

Captain's Log... I predict...

I've been reading the 6th addition rule book trying to glean good information. I predict this...

At some point there will be an alternate warlord table in a new codex.

How do I know? Page 111, first column under Warlord Traits. Since no known codex has a 'warlord table'...

I'll be in some corner still reading...

Captain's Log... Hobby Stuff...

Just a short post this week. I'm still going strong with my writing and trying to get a new 'tray' together for 'between' rounds in tournaments.

Take a look after the break...

Captain's Log... Charity Drive...

Black Crusade 2012

If you click the picture of the Chaos Space Marine, in the 'Corners of Interest', in the right column of the blog, it will take you to a site that is doing a charity drive and giving away prizes.

I give to charity in many ways and this is just a little help to those fellows over there trying to do good stuff.

Hit the caption or the picture on the right and take a look,

I'll be in other corners waiting for pre-orders...

Captain's Log... Trophy of the Day...

Made by Kellen with a little help.

I almost forgot, but better late than never, to wish all the Fathers a Happy Father's Day!

Love my kids!

Captain's Log... All Good Things...

I am a lucky man to get a 'man-cation' on father's day weekend and that the local store was running a 40K tournament. I just have one word (for the moment)... Woohoo!

So for what it's worth I will give you a rundown of the day...

Captain's Log... New Edition, New Dice...

Astro Dice

New Editions requires new dice!

The forum I have belonged to for several years has ordered dice with our logo and I have just reiceived my in the mail. Astro-Dice for the win! (the 'A' is the six)

Other then that... nothing till Sunday.

I'll be in the tournament corner till Sunday...

Captain's Log... Shameless...

While we all wait for the dawn of a new age of 40K known as '6th Edition', I have been busy doing another aspect of our hobby. Writing... or at least a form of it.

Captain's Log... Pictures?...

Pictures or it didn't happen. How many times have we heard that? Could this be a 'meme' of our hobby? The banner is a new addition to FTW Games and presented to Rob Baer on the 2nd Anniversary of the opening of his shop. I salute him and the good work the shop does!

I went to the 'Iron Man' yesterday and stayed late into the night. I had fun, so lets get on with some commentary and some pictures that turned out.
